Homes in good school districts sit on the market for a median of 76 days according to their data – out-ranking stadiums, shopping, and accessible transportation.

Even for prospective buyers without children, a house in a strong school district could be a worthy investment. Good schools are an indication of safe neighborhoods. Plus, in times of economic distress, the values of these homes remain far more consistent.

Encinitas is home to stellar public schools. Despite the abundance of recreational temptations, Encinitas students are clearly learning: overall, schools in Encinitas boast a 9 out of 10 rating. The San Dieguito Union High School District, which encompasses Encinitas, is ranked 17th in the entire state of California. Are there any downsides to living in this town?!
