Holiday Activities in San Diego

San Diego offers much to residents and visitors year round (such as warm weather, beautiful beaches and plenty of shopping, dining and relaxing), but San Diego especially has a great deal to offer during the holiday season. The Jungle Bells event is currently going on at the San Diego Zoo until January 1, 2012 where you and your family can take in holiday-themed zoological activities.

Chula Vista, located less than 10 miles outside of San Diego down the I-5 freeway, offers residential neighborhood Christmas light celebrations in their 46-year old tradition of Christmas Circle.

The Del Mar Racetrack is hosting more than 400 lighted and animated scenes on a 1.5-mile drive around the track, which will continue until January 1, 2012.

There is so much to do in San Diego and so much to experience that sometimes it is hard for residents to remember how special living in the San Diego area and these are just a few of the types of events that San Diego has on offer all of the time.
