Annual Events
Safe Trick or Treat: October 31st, 2015 on South Coast Hwy 101 from Encinitas Blvd to K Street. The Self-Realization Fellowship provides home-grown, beautifully carved pumpkins to line the streets. There will be vendors ready with candy for trick-or-treaters, and Halloween-themed activities and music hosted by The 101 Artists’ Colony.
Fall Festival: November 22nd, 2015 from 9am-4pm on Hwy 101 between F Street and H Street. There will be live music at the Lumberyard Courtyard and dance performances at The Community Stage, 450+ vendor booths, a Kids Zone, and plenty of food and drink.
Visit Santa Claus: December 12th and 19th, 2015 from 3pm-5pm at The Lumberyard Courtyard. Santa will be making a stop in downtown Encinitas to take pictures with your children—take home digital photos for free, or order prints.
Restaurant Week: January 18-24, 2016 in downtown Encinitas. The best of Encinitas’ food scene will be offering special prix fixe menus and other limited-time offers. Some of the participating restaurants include Union Kitchen & Tap, East Village Asian Diner, Bier Garden, and Lobster West.
Wellness Week Festival: January 23rd, 2016 from 11am-3pm at the Encinitas Library. Wellness Week kicks off with this exciting opening event, which features dozens of exhibitors in and around the library that offer workshops, children’s activities, and free mini-treatments.
April Street Fair: April 23-24, 2016 on Hwy 101 from D Street to J Street. This event features hundreds of food, arts and crafts vendors along with live music played on four different stages. Bring your kids and your dog: there will be free canine activities held in the dog park and a special Kid’s Zone with activities and rides.
Monthly Events
Encinitas Station Farmer’s Market: every Wednesday from 5pm-8pm at 600 S Vulcan. With over 40 vendors offering the freshest produce and more, you won’t leave this farmer’s market empty-handed. Pick up specialty meats and cheeses, local produce, flowers, freshly-baked breads, and even gelato!
Third Thursdays: the third Thursday of every month, from 5pm-7pm in downtown Encinitas. Check out Hwy 101 for art displays, live music, happy hour specials, and merchant discounts.
Classic Car Nights: every third Thursday of May to September, from 5:50-7:30pm along Hwy 101. You can’t miss this display of hundreds of hot rods and other classic vehicles cruising down the highway. Enjoy live music, great cars, and an awards ceremony at 7:15pm.
