Family Fun This Weekend in Encinitas

Ah, it’s finally Friday. This weekend, Encinitas offers plenty of opportunities to escape the weekly grind and unwind. Catch live theater at the Horton Grand Theater or the Avo Playhouse, both featuring new productions. Local plants, tomatoes, gardening essentials and more will be available at the San Diego Botanical Gardens’ Spring Jubilee. The Encinitas library celebrates the spoken word at the 6th Annual San Diego Storytelling Festival; wordsmiths have a chance to shine at the La Paloma Winter Poetry Slam, hosted by Encinitas’ Full Moon Poets.
