1.   The 2023 San Diego County Fair

On Wednesday, June 7, through Tuesday, July 4, the San Diego County Fair returns to the Del Mar Fairgrounds! The county fair is a delight for people of all ages, with different activities and competitions to explore around the park! You can find various shows that will surely fit your preferences, such as animal shows, ventriloquist acts, thrilling acrobatic performances, and even a hypnotist! You can expect to watch several artists perform live throughout the summer, consisting of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Train, Boyz II Men, and Nelly, among many others!

Are you a “ride & games” enthusiast? Well, there are plenty of attractions to try out at the country fair! From thrilling rides like The Joker 360 and Searay to family-friendly games like Beach Party Dodgem, you can find an activity that’s fun for everyone! If you want to experience something different, you can visit the various exhibits available throughout the county fair’s stay in San Diego.

2.   Summer Pups Pop-Up

This is one of the 5 summer events in Encinitas that is specialized for dog lovers! If you’re a dog owner and want to do something with your pet, this is the place to be! From June 10-17, you can take your dog to the Puppy Picnic Co. and take part in different activities consisting of bonded jewelry, custom moon ceramics, and dressing your dog with several accessories. The event will take place in the afternoon from 12 PM-3 PM each day and is completely free of charge! Simply take your pet to the storefront for an afternoon filled with fun activities.

3.   The Summer Soirée: A Tropical Day Party

If you’re looking for a social event, you can join an all-you-can-eat-and-drink party with an artistic twist! This soirée is a semi-fancy event encouraging you to dress your best and meet others in a comfortable environment. It’s a day party (so don’t worry about staying late) that has games, vendors, a premium bar, tropical-themed photo areas, a live DJ, and art pieces to look at. Island-inspired food items will be served throughout the day, and plenty of drinks will be available at the party. The party takes place this Sunday, June 4, from 3 PM- 8 PM at the Tropical Oasis in San Diego.
