If you are looking for an excuse to leave your Encinitas home for an evening, consider taking part in the Second Saturday Art Walk in Escondido! It occurs on the second Saturday of every month, however taking part in it during the summer is always best. The art walk, which starts in downtown Escondido at 5 pm on August 14th, explores plenty of local galleries and museums which are all within a short radius of the starting point. There are plenty of galleries that display all sorts of art, including the work created by local up and coming talent.
