It’s the last day of the work-week (for many at least) before the holidays are upon us. Whether you are in a mad scramble to do that last bit of holiday shopping, or are using the weekend to get started on your shopping, here is a quick guide to what is going on this weekend in Encinitas.
For those still doing their shopping this weekend some local stores are offering specials. If you are looking for gifts for the music fan in your family you may want to head over to Lou’s Music for their Friday Night Frenzy, where anyone who spends over $50 will receive a free mystery box that includes at least 30 “mystery” CDs.
If you need to do some shopping for the outdoorsman of the family REI Encinitas has extended its hours through Christmas Eve so that they will be open from 9am to 10pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
If you are looking to get out of the house this weekend you can head over to the San Diego Botanic Garden, which will be sparkling with over 100,000 lights in its Garden of Lights event. The event will be going on throughout the rest of the weekend and is great for kids, adults, and families. From the lights to live music to wagon rides and a Nutcracker Exhibition, there is plenty to enjoy for all.
