October Will See Kids Free San Diego

Those with Encinitas homes will be interested to know about a new event for the month of October. Those who own Encinitas homes, and indeed anyone living in the San Diego area, can take advantage of “Kids Free San Diego” throughout the month of October.

Over 100 businesses from attractions to restaurants, hotels, and more will be participating in the event that will see discounts provided to the youth of San Diego. Kids Free Month in October has been something that the San Diego Zoo has done for over 25 years, but for 2012 the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau decided it would expand the idea to encompass many different businesses.

The goal of this initiative is to, hopefully, convince families to extend the summer traveling season, which is why advertising will not only be run in San Diego but also in cities like Los Angeles and Phoenix. Hopefully this will raise awareness of San Diego as an affordable family destination.

Deals included in this promotion will include free admission to SeaWorld, Birch Aquarium, Legoland, museums, as well as free meals at various hotels and restaurants.
