Looking for fun weekend events in Encinitas? Here is your Encinitas Realtor guide to things to do this weekend in and around Encinitas.
If you don’t plan on participating – and aren’t preparing for – the Nationwide Open House Weekend, there is still plenty to do in the area. Whether you are looking for adult or family-friendly fun here are some of the local events.
San Diego Storytelling Festival
This free event will be held Saturday morning on April 20 at 10am at the Encinitas Library. The event will feature activities for the family, including story time for those of preschool age to a workshop on how to effectively use storytelling in business. The event will go until 6pm and is a partnership with Storytellers of San Diego.
Encinitas Garden Festival and Tour
This is the 8th annual Garden Festival and Tour at MriaCosta College in Cardiff By the Sea. This event may be of special interest to homeowners as you will get to see actual gardens in the neighborhood and how other homeowners utilize the space that they have on their Encinitas real estate.
Additionally, the event will feature a Gardener’s Marketplace that will feature everything from guest speakers discussing a wide variety of topics to vendors offering garden art, vegetable seedlings, and unusual plants.
This event is expected to sell out so get your tickets at the Encinitas Garden Festival website today if you plan on attending.
Walk MS at Legoland
This event at Legoland will help to raise awareness for Multiple Sclerosis as well as raise funds for the MS Society. The event will start at 7am on Sunday and is free to the public. You can learn more about MS and the event on the Carlsbad Patch event page.
From your Encinitas Realtor Linda Moore, have a great weekend in beautiful Encinitas and if you attend any of these events tell me about them in the comments section.
